More detail on Shipdham turbines plan
Wind farm firm Ecotricity has submitted more information about its plans for two turbines on land near Shipdham, near Dereham.
Their proposal for a wind farm near Wood Farm is due to go before a public inquiry which could last six days, starting early next month.
A planning inspector will rule whether or not the scheme should be given planning permission.
The original scheme was put forward in 2003 to Breckland Council, for two turbines, 65metres high and with a 70 metre rota diameter.
Breckland refused planning permission but then the secretary of state for communities and local government overruled the decision in 2006.
That decision was then challenged and quashed and it was decided it should go to a public inquiry, due to be held at Breckland Council’s offices in Walpole Loke, Dereham, from December 9.
The further information supplied relates to noise created by the turbines and power output according to the manufacturer.
