Wind farm site near Newark vandalised
Wind speed measuring equipment at the site of a proposed wind farm has been vandalised.
A mast at Thackson’s Well, near Long Bennington, was damaged.
And guy wires holding the mast in place were cut.
Developer Infinergy has reported the incident to police.
South Kesteven District Council rejected plans to build ten wind turbines on the site earlier this year.
Infinergy has appealed against the decision.
