Information in the air at meeting on wind turbines
An informational meeting on wind power called “What do we know about the promises of wind energy and the inconvenient truths?” will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in the first floor meeting room at the Skaneateles Community Center.
Bradley Jones, who operates a conservation project on Parish Hill, east of Naples, will be the guest speaker. He has spoken at several seminars and workshops on wind turbines throughout the state.
Wind turbines have been a hot topic in Skaneateles and Spafford. The Spafford town board will hold a second public hearing on a local law regarding wind turbines during its regular meeting starting at 7 p.m. Thursday at town hall.
