Windmills ugly

If you are in favor of wind farms in Kansas and haven’t driven Interstate 70 near Ellsworth, I’d suggest that you take a look for yourself.

On a recent drive to Colorado, I was sad to see the beautiful Kansas landscape desecrated by hundreds of wind mills. It’s sad to think what Kansas will look like if we have these eyesores throughout our state.

Once these monsters are installed, I suspect they will never come down, even if later they prove to be ineffective. Our landscape will be scarred for decades.

I urge the governor and our legislators to more diligently explore other energy alternatives before it is too late.
