Kindergartners through eighth-graders are encouraged to participate in an art contest sponsored by the National Renewable Energy Marketing Conference.

Open to students nationwide, designs should highlight the theme of renewable energy.

Winning designs will be displayed at the sponsor’s national conference in San Francisco in December and printed in a set of greeting cards. In addition, winning students will receive a $50 gift certificate and an award at the conference.

Winning teachers or sponsors will receive a $100 gift certificate.

Entries are due by 5 p.m. Friday.
