They’re Not Green Episode 1 takes the viewer to Palm Springs California where the wind power industry began in the United States. In the 1970s, the Oil Embargo, OPEC, President Jimmy Carter, CA Governor Jerry Brown all contributed to the industrialization of wind power. Unfortunately, the rural communities have become victims of the industrial wind developers.
