This examination of how industrial wind turbine facilities might affect butterflies appeared in the February 2007 issue of the trade journal North American Windpower. It raises several issues, including the impact of habitat fragmentation and degradation, although it minimizes the risk of collision and ignores the possibility of damage by turbulence.
