Public Hearing in Town of Italy Regarding Ecogen

Public Hearing in the Town of Italy at the Italy Town Barn

    SATURDAY SEPT. 19, 2009 at 9:00 AM.

This is the one to attend, do not miss expressing your concerns on the Ecogen Industrial Wind Project.

Our Prattsburgh friends are supporting our Italy neighbors. AFP’s message says:

This public hearing on Ecogen’s requests for permits for the project — which they are going to put into the wind incentive zone that they bullied the town into creating.

Please show up and sign up to speak about the inadequate setbacks or the drop in property values or the concern that Ecogen will not follow through on its promises — or whatever concern you have. It would be best to put something into writing.

Remember — Ecogen is bribing people to come with breakfast, and has distributed green t-shirts. Look for the people distributing BLACK t-shirts — those are for us — they’ll have a slogan I think you’ll like. Please wear one if you feel comfortable.

Margaret Dunn would like to think that there is a great silent majority who wants these turbines. Please prove to her it is not the case.

The November election in Italy is crucial. Some representatives on the Town Board of Italy want to fast track approval; because they fear that, the voters will register their sentiments and VOTE THEM OUT OF OFFICE.

Brad Jones is running for Supervisor with a strong team of candidates. Let’s make a serious effort to attend the Italy Public Hearing this Saturday.
